Welcome to Marco Island Dance Academy.  Marco Island's only Dance Studio offering classes for kids Ages 1 yr and Up.  Our goal is to enrich our beautiful Island Life by bringing the Joy of Movement and Dance to the Island.  Our classes offer a variety of different styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Boys Hip Hop,Cheer dance, aerial, acro & Competition & Mommy & Me Classes.  We have two beautiful Studio Rooms to hold multiple classes and cater to different skill levels and styles. The two studios have top of the line equipment and flooring used by advanced professional studios. We are excited and look forward to teaching the Joy of Dance in beautiful Marco Island.

We are very excited to welcome our young dancers and families to our beautiful studio on Marco Island.

Our facility and instructors are fully licensed and insured.  Safety is our top priority followed by Fun!

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT CLASSES, RECITALS, PHOTOS & ATTIRE: SAVE THE DATES:

*Saturday August 12, 2023, 10am -12 pm  OPENING PARTY – Pick up your studio registrations at the studio, along with your dance bag & water bottles included in the registration fee. Order dance attire & get fitted/order shoes for the upcoming season all at the studio. Refreshments & snacks will be served and teachers will be having mini dance workshops for the dancers.

*Classes start the week of August 14^th.

Monday Sept 4- Closed-Labor Day

*Tuesday October 31- Studio Closed- Halloween

*Monday November 20-24- Studio Closed Thanksgiving Break

*Saturday, December 2   TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY  SHOW .                       6PM

*Studio is Open with classes For December 1-December 15

*December Tuition is NOT prorated and is Due in Full prior to being able to participate in the Tree Lighting ceremony. December Tuition includes three full weeks of classes (one week being the first week of January due to January having 5 weeks this year) & the tree lighting ceremony participation and  (Costumes  & Videography costs will be billed separately prior to the Tree Lighting Ceremony)

CLASS ATTIRE:

BALLET- Any color leotard, with or without skirt- pink tights & pink ballet shoes. Hair out of face. Tight bun or neat ponytail.   Tiny Tails Class- Ballet shoes & tap shoes ( beige)

JAZZ- Leotard or form fitted top. Shorts, yoga pants, or jazz pants, jazz shoes optional, can go barefoot if preferred. Hair in ponytail, bun or off the face.

HIP HOP- T shirt and pants you can easily move in, no shoes allowed. Barefoot or non slip socks. LYRICAL- Leotard & black or pink tights or lyrical dresses. Bare feet, turner shoes or ballet shoes. Hair off face.

DANCE CHEER- leotard or form fitting top with skort or shorts. Ballet or jazz shoes or bare feet.

ACRO/AERIAL- Gymnastics attire, no loose clothing, barefeet

Boys- horts, white t shirt and black ballet shoes or similar shoes or bare feet

*Where to purchase*- Shoes may be ordered in the Studio SICK POLICY & MAKEUPS:

We want to maintain a healthy and safe learning environment for our dancers and ask that any sick children do not come to the studio. Please keep your child home if they have a Runny nose, fever, or cough or generally feeling ill. We would ask they be fever free for a minimum of 48 hours before returning to classes and no residual cough or runny nose.

While we will make every effort to accommodate make ups, there may not be availability in a class scheduled later that week of a similar style and therefore we may not be able to offer makeup classes. Please email us at info@marcoislanddanceacademy.com to see if makeups can be accommodated.

BILLING: After signed paperwork is received, we will begin monthly billing directly via email where you can create an account and pay your bill monthly via credit card or ACH. We kindly ask 30 day notice if you intend to withdraw from a class. Our main session will run from August 14, 2023- May 24, 2024 There will be a separate summer session schedule for our families staying this summer who wish to continue through the summer. Our next fall session would resume Aug 2024.

Pricing Schedule: There is a non refundable $100 registration fee per dancer. This includes their studio registration, dance bag & water bottle
